Neurofeedback
What Is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, medication-free brain training technique that helps the brain learn to regulate itself more effectively.
Using sensors placed on the scalp, we measure brainwave activity and provide real-time feedback that supports healthier brain patterns associated with mood, focus, sleep, and emotional regulation.
Neurofeedback is often helpful for individuals who:
- Experience chronic depression or mood instability
- Struggle with suicidal thoughts
- Feel emotionally reactive or dysregulated
- Have difficulty tolerating traditional talk therapy
- Have complex trauma or dissociation
- Are in addiction recovery
- Experience sleep disturbance
Types of Neurofeedback We Offer
We offer two types of neurofeedback:
- EEG Neurofeedback — targets specific brainwave patterns associated with anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, trauma responses, and emotional instability
- Infra-Low Frequency (ILF) Neurofeedback — works at very slow brainwave frequencies that support deep nervous system stabilization, beneficial for complex trauma, chronic suicidality, attachment trauma, and emotional volatility
How Neurofeedback Fits Into Treatment
Neurofeedback can be used as:
- A stabilizing intervention before trauma processing
- An adjunct to psychotherapy
- A complement to medication, TMS, or Spravato
